Senior Accountant / Auditor

Job Description

Our client, a leading boutique CPA firm in the Bergen County area is adding a Senior Accountant / Auditor to their team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse client base including pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, and more.

Some Responsibilities will include :

  • Perform audit, review, compilation or accounting procedures as assigned by supervisors
  • In-charge audits, including planning, directing fieldwork and supervising staff
  • Prepare financial statements and footnotes
  • Prepare working trial balance and adjusting journal entries
  • Responsible for documenting engagement planning
  • Perform year-end inventory observations

Requirements for the position include:

  • -Minimum 3-6 years relevant public accounting experience preferably from a midsize to large firm
  • -CPA License highly desired
  • -Excellent Communication Skills, organized and self-driven.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
