QC Chemist

A six-month QC Chemist job in Northern NJ is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology.
In order to qualify for this position, you must have prior laboratory experience working with pipetting or chemicals.
One responsibly in this role includes documenting test results and other relevant information under cGMPs.
QC Chemist job responsibilities include:
- Conducts analytical and functional testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods kits.
- Filled bottle reagents/calibrators according to approved SOPs.
- Performs initial troubleshooting of issues which arise during routine analysis, perform out of specification investigations and if needed, initiate non-conformance reports.
- Documents test results, complete batch records, document problems and other relevant information under cGMPs.
- Performs simple revisions and updates to SOPs as necessary and initiate SOP change orders.
- Maintain lot histories and analyze trends and discrepancies.
- Maintain and order lab supplies as needed.
- Participates in interdepartmental meetings.
- Performs other responsibilities to support the needs of the department as assigned by Supervisor.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Participate in PPI, Lean and 5S programs Qualifications:
- Minimum BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Bioscience.
- Strong laboratory skills including pipetting, safety, and hazardous chemical handling.
- Understanding of cGMP and how it applies to the work environment is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
