To provide support to the human resources department with a variety of human resources activities.
Communicates closely with all programs and departments throughout the agency to provide customer-focused and effective HR support services.
Responsibilities:
Supports the day-to-day operations of the human resources function; Responsible for ensuring the accurate and up-to-date filing of personnel documentation; Provides clerical support in all areas of benefits; Attends and participates in new employee orientation as necessary; Assists with recruiting efforts as directed; Assists with pre-hire requirements Assists with preparing for personnel file inspections and audits; Other relevant duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate's degree with at least two (2) years experience working in a similar environment preferred Intermediate computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organization, and good communication skills - oral and written, Strong interpersonal and partnering skills Must have a high regard for confidentiality and operate with a high level of personal integrity Must maintain a professional presence at all times and focus on customer service Flexibility with work schedule to meet the requirements of the department Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural diversity issues Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and manage priorities Ability to effectively work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and races Ability to effectively work as a member of a team Ability to work effectively with clients including intervention and relationship-building skills Children's Aid and Family Services is an equal-opportunity employer.
